With two outs in the top of the 9th, Miguel Cabrera tagged the right field foul pole last night in Kansas City to tie up the game 1-1 and eventually send it into extra innings. The Tigers took a 2-1 lead in the top of the 11th, but the Royals ended up scoring two of their own in the bottom of the inning for the win. Both teams are now 1-1.
These two teams will meet again for the third and final game of this series today at 2:10pm before the Tigers fly home for tomorrow's home opener against Cleveland.
